Safety and Transparency: How Jett Sender Protects Travelers and Senders
One of the first questions people ask about Jett Sender is: “How do you make sure no one sends illegal or dangerous items?”
The answer is simple — technology, transparency, and shared responsibility.
When a user wants to send a package, they start by uploading a photo through the app. Our artificial intelligence system automatically analyzes the image to describe the package, estimate its weight and size, and ensure it fits within the approved product categories. These categories are limited to safe, everyday items such as clothing, toys, documents, and beauty or electronic products. This first layer of control prevents any unverified or high-risk shipment from even entering the system.
Once a traveler (Jettsender) sees the item listed, they can review the photo and description before accepting the request. When both parties agree, the Open Package Policy takes effect: at the time of handover, the package must be open and visible so the traveler can personally confirm its contents. This simple but powerful rule gives every Jettsender full confidence in what they are carrying — whether traveling by car or plane. If anything seems suspicious, the traveler has the right to refuse transportation.
In addition, both the sender and the traveler complete biometric verification and identity checks through the app. That means every package is linked to real, verified people. If someone tries to alter a shipment or fails to deliver, their identity can be reported to the authorities, dramatically reducing the risk of theft or fraud.
At Jett Sender, safety is built into every step. We’ve developed a smarter, more personal, and community-driven model where technology and trust work together. By combining real-time verification, artificial intelligence, and human connection, we make crowdshipping not only faster, but safer for everyone.
